Daunomycin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Apr 11, 2005. Male patient, weighting 180.8 lb, was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Daunomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, agitation, apnoea, hypermetabolism, hypoxia, lung infiltration, mental status changes, metabolic disorder , pyrexia. Daunomycin dosage: 60 MG/M2 IVP ON DAYS 1, 8, 15, AND 22. During the same period patient was treated with VINCRISTINE SULPHATE, PREDNISONE, ELSPAR, METHOTREXATE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, agitation, ammonia increased, apnoea, haemodialysis, hypermetabolism, hypoxia, mental status changes, pyrexia. Daunomycin dosage: 60 MG/M2 IVP ON DAYS 1, 8, 15, AND 22. During the same period patient was treated with VINCRISTINE SULPHATE, PREDNISONE, METHOTREXATE. Patient recovered.
