Daunomycin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Sept 29, 2005. Male patient, weighting 205.0 lb, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Daunomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, alanine aminotransferase increased, anorexia, aspartate aminotransferase increased, asterixis, blood bilirubin increased, blood creatinine increased, bone marrow disorder, confusional state. Daunomycin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CYTARABINE, MYLOTARG, GROWTH FACTOR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 09/15/2005.

Male patient, weighting 151.2 lb, was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Daunomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, blood fibrinogen decreased, chest pain What is  chest pain, coagulopathy, dizziness What is  dizziness. Daunomycin dosage: 60 MG/M2 IVP ON DAYS 1, 8, 15, AND 22. During the same period patient was treated with VINCRISTINE SULPHATE, PREDNISONE, METHOTREXATE. Patient recovered.
