Darunavir and renal failure acute Patient Reports February 13, 2012

Darunavir Side Effects Report #5308705-5
Darunavir side effect was reported by a Physician from CANADA on Apr 20, 2007. Male patient, 57 years of age, weighting 180.8 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection , diabetes mellitus and was treated with Darunavir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dehydration, diarrhoea, haemodialysis, hyperkalaemia, lactic acidosis, malaise, renal failure acute, urine output decreased. Darunavir dosage: 600MG TWICE PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with RITONAVIR, TENOFOVIR, METFORMIN, ABACAVIR SULPHATE, ENFUVIRTIDE, BACTRIM, FENOFIBRATE, TRAZODONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Darunavir side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED KINGDOM on Oct 21, 2008. Male patient, 45 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Darunavir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pericardial effusion, renal failure acute. Darunavir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TRUVADA, RITONAVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
