Darunavir and pyrexia Patient Reports February 13, 2012

Darunavir side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 14, 2006. Male patient, 49 years of age, weighting 171.0 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection , bipolar disorder  and was treated with Darunavir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, diarrhoea, liver function test abnormal, pyrexia, rash . Darunavir dosage: 600MG DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with LAMOTRIGINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Darunavir side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Feb 14, 2007. Male patient, 31 years of age, weighting 169.1 lb, was diagnosed with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, hiv infection  and was treated with Darunavir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pyrexia, rash . Darunavir dosage: 600 MG PO BID. During the same period patient was treated with AZITHROMYCIN, DAPSONE, FLUCONAZOLE, ACETAMINOPHEN, LOPERAMIDE, NEUTRA, PROMETHAZINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
