Darunavir Side Effects Report #5466669-8
Darunavir side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Sept 24, 2007. Male patient, 56 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection , candidiasis and was treated with Darunavir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acidosis, alanine aminotransferase increased, anorexia, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood bilirubin increased, dysgeusia, fatigue, hepatic fibrosis, hepatic necrosis. Darunavir dosage: 600 MG PO BID. During the same period patient was treated with EPZICOM, VIDEX, FLUCONAZOLE, BACTRIM, MEGACE, PLETAL, NAPROXAN, RITONAVIR. Patient recovered.

Darunavir side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Mar 16, 2009. Female patient, 49 years of age, was treated with Darunavir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, anorexia, arthralgia, debridement, headache , oral disorder, pruritus, rash , tachycardia. Darunavir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ETRAVIRINE, RALTEGRAVIR, RITONAVIR, AMLODIPINE, BENDROFLUMETHIAZIDE, DICLOFENAC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Darunavir side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 13, 2009. Female patient, 42 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Darunavir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, dehydration, diarrhoea, encephalopathy, gastric ulcer, gastrointestinal disorder, hepatotoxicity, hypersensitivity, oesophageal candidiasis. Darunavir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ETRAVIRINE, RALTEGRAVIR, RITONAVIR, ZIDOVUDINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 12/29/2008.
