Daraprim side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from GERMANY on Dec 08, 2008. Male patient, 76 years of age, weighting 163.1 lb, was diagnosed with toxoplasmosis and was treated with Daraprim. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: optic ischaemic neuropathy, papilloedema. Daraprim dosage: 25MG TWICE PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with PROGRAF, ASPIRIN, ALLOPURINOL, PRAVASTATIN, BAZOTON UNO, FUROSEMID, HEPAR SLTE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
