Daraprim side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from SPAIN on July 17, 2008. Female patient, 46 years of age, was diagnosed with cerebral toxoplasmosis, hiv infection  and was treated with Daraprim. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agranulocytosis. Daraprim dosage: 50MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with EFAVIRENZ, TRUVADA, SULPHADIAZINE, DEXAMETHASONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Daraprim side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from SWITZERLAND on Sept 28, 2007. Female patient, 39 years of age, was treated with Daraprim. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agranulocytosis, fatigue, hemiplegia, leukopenia, vomiting. Daraprim dosage: 25MG THREE TIMES PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with SULFADIAZINE, NEURONTIN, FOLINIC ACID. Patient recovered.
