Daptomycin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Feb 15, 2008. Female patient was diagnosed with osteomyelitis and was treated with Daptomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pruritus, rash macular. Daptomycin dosage: DAPTOMYCIN 4MG IV QD. During the same period patient was treated with CEFEPIME. Patient recovered.

Daptomycin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 07, 2006. Male patient, 48 years of age, weighting 202.8 lb, was diagnosed with ligament operation, postoperative infection and was treated with Daptomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: eye swelling, mouth ulceration, pallor, pharyngolaryngeal pain, pruritus, rash erythematous, rash macular, skin exfoliation. Daptomycin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DAPTOMYCIN CUBIST, VANCOMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
