Daptomycin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 29, 2009. Female patient, 63 years of age, weighting 166.4 lb, was diagnosed with fungaemia and was treated with Daptomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bronchospasm, depressed level of consciousness, hypoventilation, pyrexia, rash What is  rash, respiratory failure. Daptomycin dosage: 500MG IV. During the same period patient was treated with DIFLUCAN, ALBUTEROL, ZOSYN, FENTANYL, VANCOMYCIN, CASPOFUNGIN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiovascular disorder, hypertension, hypotension, pyrexia, respiratory distress, skin disorder. Daptomycin dosage: 570MG. During the same period patient was treated with ITRACONAZOLE, LISINOPRIL, MAGNESIUM, NEUTRA PHOS, PANTOPRAZOLE. Patient recovered.
