Daptomycin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Aug 25, 2005. Female patient, weighting 244.0 lb, was diagnosed with cellulitis , staphylococcal infection  and was treated with Daptomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pain . Daptomycin dosage: 450 MG IV QD. During the same period patient was treated with HEPARIN LOCK FLUSH, CHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Daptomycin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 04, 2006. Male patient, 53 years of age, weighting 154.1 lb, was diagnosed with arthritis bacterial and was treated with Daptomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blister, erythema, oral mucosa erosion, pain , pigmentation disorder, rash , skin exfoliation, skin ulcer, xerosis. Daptomycin dosage: 300MG Q48H IV BOLUS. During the same period patient was treated with AZTREONAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Daptomycin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 20, 2006. Female patient, weighting 268.1 lb, was diagnosed with abscess , cellulitis  and was treated with Daptomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dysstasia, local swelling, oedema peripheral, pain . Daptomycin dosage: 480MG EVERY 24 HOURS IV BOLUS. During the same period patient was treated with AMITRIPTYLINE, DARVOCET, LASIX, ZYVOX, AZACTAM, NEURONTIN, NOVOLIN. Patient recovered.
