Daptomycin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on July 13, 2006. Male patient, 49 years of age, weighting 186.0 lb, was diagnosed with staphylococcal bacteraemia and was treated with Daptomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatine phosphokinase increased, myalgia. Daptomycin dosage: 500 MG DAILY IV BOLUS. During the same period patient was treated with SPIRONOLACTONE, ZOLPIDEM TARTRATE, ASPRIRIN, CARVEDILOL, LANOXIN, FUROSEMIDE, ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM, LISINOPRIL. Patient recovered.
