Daptomycin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 13, 2006. Male patient, 65 years of age, weighting 188.9 lb, was diagnosed with enterococcal infection and was treated with Daptomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: fall What is  fall, rhabdomyolysis. Daptomycin dosage: 500 MG IV Q24H. During the same period patient was treated with ZOSYN, VORICONAZOLE, ACYCLOVIR, NEUPOGEN, DOCUSATE, MIRALAX, PROTONIX, SENNA. Patient recovered.

Daptomycin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 18, 2007. Female patient, 67 years of age, weighting 231.5 lb, was diagnosed with bursitis infective, hyperlipidaemia and was treated with Daptomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatine phosphokinase increased, bursitis infective, fall What is  fall, leukopenia, radius fracture, ulna fracture, upper limb fracture. Daptomycin dosage: 600MG DAILY IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with SIMVASTATIN, CIPROFLOXACIN, COMBIVENT, ATENOLOL, CLONIDINE, WARFARIN, LISINOPRIL WITH HCT, LEVOTHYROXINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
