Daptomycin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 24, 2007. Male patient, 55 years of age, weighting 199.5 lb, was diagnosed with endocarditis enterococcal and was treated with Daptomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dialysis , eosinophil count increased, nephritis interstitial, renal failure acute. Daptomycin dosage: 500MG (= 5.5 MG/KG) IV Q24HR. During the same period patient was treated with GENTAMICIN SULPHATE, CEFEPIME, VANCOMYCIN, IODAXANOL CONTRAST DYE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with FEXOFENADINE, REGULAR INSULIN, CIMETIDINE, AMLODIPINE, METHADONE, INSULIN GLARZINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
