Daptomycin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 18, 2005. Female patient, 81 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with endocarditis  and was treated with Daptomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bedridden, blood creatine phosphokinase increased. Daptomycin dosage: 400 MG IV Q 48. Patient recovered.
