Daptomycin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 12, 2008. Male patient, 78 years of age, weighting 226.0 lb, was diagnosed with graft infection and was treated with Daptomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, dizziness
, dyspnoea, urine output decreased. Daptomycin dosage: 600MG IV Q24. During the same period patient was treated with FENTANYL TRANSDERMAL SYSTEM, NITROGLYCERIN, LISINOPRIL, PLAVIX, TOPROL, ALBUTEROL, ASPIRIN, CITRACAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
