Daptomycin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Feb 20, 2007. Male patient, 52 years of age, weighting 256.4 lb, was diagnosed with pericarditis and was treated with Daptomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic reaction. Daptomycin dosage: 680MG Q24H IV BOLUS. During the same period patient was treated with CEFAZOLIN, COUMADIN, FORADIL, LEXAPRO, IBUPROFEN, METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, NASACORT AQ, LISINOPRIL. Patient recovered.
