Dapsone side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on June 13, 2006. Male patient, 66 years of age, weighting 163.0 lb, was diagnosed with dermatitis herpetiformis, papilloma viral infection and was treated with Dapsone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, bladder distension, condition aggravated, dermatitis herpetiformis, dyspnoea, fatigue, haemoglobin decreased, serum sickness, yellow skin. Dapsone dosage: 50 MG TWICE DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with LIPITOR, GLUCOSAMINE, PRILOSEC. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood methaemoglobin present, cough, dizziness , dyspnoea, fatigue, oxygen saturation decreased. Dapsone dosage: 100MG DAILY PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
