Dapsone side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Apr 07, 2005. Male patient, 53 years of age, weighting 167.6 lb, was diagnosed with pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia, prophylaxis and was treated with Dapsone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angioneurotic oedema, erythema multiforme. Dapsone dosage: 100MG, 100MGQD, ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Dapsone side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 30, 2006. Female patient, 49 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia and was treated with Dapsone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: corneal abrasion, erythema multiforme, stevens-johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis. Dapsone dosage: 200 MG PO DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with TESSALON, FAMVIR, MAGIC MOUTHWASH, BENADRYL, ATROVENT, PROTONIX. Patient recovered.
