Daonil side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on July 27, 2005. Male patient, 75 years of age, weighting 149.9 lb, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent, essential hypertension, depression , myocardial ischaemia, hypercholesterolaemia and was treated with Daonil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral ischaemia, cerebrovascular accident, condition aggravated, confusional state, disorientation, disturbance in attention, hypoglycaemia, somnolence, vascular dementia. Daonil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FUROSEMIDE, ZOLOFT, ZANIDIP, TAHOR, TRINIPATCH, KARDEGIC, COZAAR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 96 years of age, weighting 81.57 lb, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, essential hypertension and was treated with Daonil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood potassium increased, blood sodium decreased, cerebrovascular accident, electrocardiogram t wave peaked, facial palsy, hypoglycaemia, motor dysfunction, paresis, renal failure. Daonil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TAREG, LERCAN, PNEUMOREL, TRIAMTERENE AND HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Daonil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TRINIPATCH, KARDEGIC, COZAAR, MOPRAL, CORBIONAX, FUROSEMIDE, ZOLOFT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
