Daonil side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Oct 18, 2006. Female patient, 81 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent and was treated with Daonil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardio-respiratory arrest, fall What is  fall, hypoglycaemic coma, pulmonary embolism What is  pulmonary embolism. Daonil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PIOGLITAZONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 04/06/2005.

Female patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent, essential hypertension, anaemia and was treated with Daonil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, cardio-respiratory arrest, haemolysis, hypoglycaemia, normochromic normocytic anaemia, weight decreased. Daonil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TRIATEC, INIPOMP, GLUCOPHAGE, SPECIAFOLDINE, ACETAMINOPHEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
