Male patient, 70 years of age, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus and was treated with Daonil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, renal tubular disorder. Daonil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PIOGLITAZONE, ATORVASTATIN, METFORMIN. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 70 years of age, weighting 218.3 lb, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent, bronchitis chronic, hyperlipidaemia, essential hypertension and was treated with Daonil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, hepatic enzyme increased, hepatocellular damage, hypoglycaemia, loss of consciousness, malaise. Daonil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ATROVENT, DOMPERIDONE, TAHOR, KENZEN, MEDIATENSYL, ZANIDIP, KALEORID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
