Daonil side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Feb 18, 2009. Female patient, 83 years of age, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus and was treated with Daonil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: altered state of consciousness, bedridden, blood pressure decreased, cardiac disorder, cortical laminar necrosis, diabetes mellitus inadequate control, hypersomnia, hypoglycaemic encephalopathy, hypoxia. Daonil dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 82 years of age, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus, neuropathy peripheral, dementia What is  dementia, cerebral infarction, hypertension and was treated with Daonil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: altered state of consciousness, hypoglycaemic encephalopathy, hypoxia. Daonil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METHYCOBAL, GRAMALIL, ASPIRIN, LULLAN. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
