Dantrolene side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Jan 10, 2005. Female patient, 54 years of age, weighting 198.0 lb, was diagnosed with neuroleptic malignant syndrome and was treated with Dantrolene. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hepatotoxicity, liver function test abnormal. Dantrolene dosage: 25 MG Q 6 HRS- TOLRATE- UPWARD TO 50 MG Q6 HR. During the same period patient was treated with CYANOCOBALAMIN, ENOXAPARIN, FOLIC ACID, INSULIN ASPARTAMINE, POTASSIUM, LACTULOSE, RANITIDINE. Patient recovered.
