Dantrium side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Sept 07, 2007. Male patient, 60 years of age, was diagnosed with neuroleptic malignant syndrome, cardiac failure and was treated with Dantrium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, atrial fibrillation What is  atrial fibrillation, cardiac failure congestive, cardiomegaly, haemodialysis, hyperventilation, hypoxia, oxygen saturation decreased, rales. Dantrium dosage: 25 MG THREE TIMES DAILY, ORAL 50 MG THREE TIMES DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LASIX, LEVOTHYROXINE, GRAMALIL, DEPAS, RISPERDAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Dantrium side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Sept 11, 2008. Male patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with neuroleptic malignant syndrome and was treated with Dantrium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: facial spasm, grand mal convulsion, hyperthermia, inflammation, insomnia, oxygen saturation decreased, respiratory disorder, status epilepticus. Dantrium dosage: 75 MG, DAILY, IV DRIP. Patient recovered.
