Dantrium side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from CANADA on Sept 01, 2005. Male patient, 43 years of age, weighting 229.3 lb, was diagnosed with neuroleptic malignant syndrome and was treated with Dantrium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: areflexia, depressed level of consciousness, electrolyte imbalance, hypotonia, liver disorder, metabolic acidosis, renal impairment. Dantrium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METFORMIN, RISPERIDONE, OLANZAPINE, PROPOFOL. Patient recovered.

Dantrium side effect was reported by a Physician from TURKEY on Apr 12, 2006. Female patient, 34 years of age, weighting 189.6 lb, was treated with Dantrium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardio-respiratory arrest, metabolic acidosis, multi-organ failure. Dantrium dosage: 100 MG FOUR TIMES DAILY, IV NOS. During the same period patient was treated with CYPROHEPTADINE, OXYGEN, CHLORIDE, CHARCOAL, MIDAZOLAM, VECURONIUM BROMIDE. Patient died.
