Dantrium side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Sept 11, 2008. Male patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with neuroleptic malignant syndrome and was treated with Dantrium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: facial spasm, grand mal convulsion, hyperthermia, inflammation, insomnia, oxygen saturation decreased, respiratory disorder, status epilepticus. Dantrium dosage: 75 MG, DAILY, IV DRIP. Patient recovered.

Dantrium side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Sept 11, 2008. Male patient, 50 years of age, was diagnosed with neuroleptic malignant syndrome and was treated with Dantrium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebrovascular disorder, grand mal convulsion, insomnia, meningitis What is  meningitis, neoplasm, pneumatosis intestinalis, refusal of treatment by patient, status epilepticus, vomiting. Dantrium dosage: 75 MG/DAY/50 MG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with PHENYTOIN. Patient recovered.
