Dantrium side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from FRANCE on Sept 19, 2008. Male patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with muscle spasticity, hypercholesterolaemia, hypertension and was treated with Dantrium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: constipation
, diarrhoea, gastrointestinal motility disorder, pancreatic duct dilatation, pancreatitis acute, scan abdomen abnormal. Dantrium dosage: 175 MG, DAILY, ORAL; 175 MG, DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with FENOFIBRATE, PRAVASTATIN, CELECTOL, VISKEN, CREON, PANCREATIN TRIPLE STRENGTH CAP. Patient was hospitalized. Dantrium side effect was reported by a Physician from on Apr 18, 2005. Male patient, child 3 years of age, was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and was treated with Dantrium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal faeces, aspartate aminotransferase increased, band neutrophil percentage increased, basophil count increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood urea decreased, diarrhoea, haematochezia, heart rate increased. Dantrium dosage: 2.5 MG, DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with DEPAKENE, CARBAMAZEPINE, ADEROXAL, DIAZEPAM, TRICLORYL, MUCODYNE, BISOLVON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
