Dacogen Side Effects Report #5603507-4
Dacogen side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 10, 2008. Male patient, 75 years of age, was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Dacogen. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, anaemia, blood bilirubin increased, blood sodium decreased, platelet count decreased, pneumonia , prothrombin time prolonged, respiratory failure, white blood cell count increased. Dacogen dosage: 40 MG, 1 IN 1 DAY; INJECTION. During the same period patient was treated with FORTAZ, ACETAMINOPHEN, PRBC, PLATELETS, LEVAQUIN, PROCRIT. Patient died on 08/30/2006.

Male patient, 69 years of age, weighting 152.1 lb, was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Dacogen. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: concomitant disease progression, pulmonary fibrosis , respiratory failure. Dacogen dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PULMICORT, CRESTOR. Patient died on 08/31/2007.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute pulmonary oedema, cardiac arrest , constipation , hypoxia, refusal of treatment by relative, respiratory failure.
