Cytoxan side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Apr 18, 2005. Male patient, weighting 273.4 lb, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma  and was treated with Cytoxan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood culture positive, central line infection, dyspnoea exertional, fatigue, hyperglycaemia, neutrophil count decreased, pyrexia, renal failure. Cytoxan dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MELPHALAN, FLUDARABINE PHOSPHATE, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, METHOTREXATE. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with GMCSF, AUTOLOGOUS VACCINE, LEVAQUIN, COREG, DILTIAZEM, COUMADIN, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, LANOXIN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, aspergillosis, dyspnoea, hypoxia, lung disorder, neutrophil count decreased, platelet count decreased, pyrexia. Cytoxan dosage: 600MG/M2 IV Q21D X 6. During the same period patient was treated with RITUXAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 02/04/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: colitis ischaemic, neutrophil count decreased, pain , platelet count decreased, pyrexia, sepsis , white blood cell count decreased. Cytoxan dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ADRIAMYCIN PFS, TAXOTERE, NEULASTA, LIPITOR, NORVASC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 08/29/2007.

Patient recovered.
