Cytoxan side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Feb 11, 2005. Male patient, 73 years of age, weighting 184.3 lb, was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Cytoxan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, aspergillosis, dyspnoea, hypoxia, lung disorder, neutrophil count decreased, platelet count decreased, pyrexia. Cytoxan dosage: 600MG/M2 IV Q21D X 6. During the same period patient was treated with RITUXAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 02/04/2005.

Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acidosis, alanine aminotransferase abnormal, aspartate aminotransferase abnormal, blood creatinine abnormal, hypotension, hypoxia, klebsiella infection, multi-organ failure, respiratory failure. Cytoxan dosage: 4600 MG. During the same period patient was treated with FLUCONAZOLE, CHLORDEXIDINE, LEVOTHYROXINE, OXYCONTIN, ACTIGALL, LANSOPRAZOLE, ACYCLOVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Cytoxan dosage: 4600 MG/IV. During the same period patient was treated with CITROLOPRAM, LASIX, MORPHINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
