Cytovene side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Nov 03, 2005. Male patient, 13 years of age, weighting 170.2 lb, was diagnosed with cytomegalovirus infection , pain , anaemia and was treated with Cytovene. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: complications of transplanted kidney, graft versus host disease, kidney transplant rejection, renal failure. Cytovene dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FENTANYL, EPOGEN, POLYGAM, THYMOGLOBULIN. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: complications of transplanted kidney, haemodialysis, haemoglobin decreased, kidney transplant rejection, platelet count decreased, renal tubular necrosis, tubulointerstitial nephritis, white blood cell count decreased. Cytovene dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FENTANYL, EPOGEN, POLYGAM, THYMOGLOBULIN. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: kidney transplant rejection, nephrolithiasis, renal impairment. Cytovene dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TRIMETHOPRIM, CELLCEPT, PRILOSEC, CLOTRIMAZOLE, PREDNISONE, ORTHOCLONE OKT, ATGAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 11/30/1998.
