Cytotec and cardiac arrest Patient Reports February 12, 2012

Cytotec Side Effects Report #5073521-9
Cytotec side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from BRAZIL on July 21, 2006. Male patient, 37 years of age, was diagnosed with dyspepsia, surgery  and was treated with Cytotec. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , cardiac arrest , carpal tunnel syndrome , impaired work ability, monoplegia, post procedural nausea, procedural complication, road traffic accident, wrist fracture. Cytotec dosage: 20 MG (20 MG, 1 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ANAESTHETICS. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , gastrointestinal necrosis, oesophageal disorder, overdose. Cytotec dosage: unknown. Patient died on 01/01/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal symptom, cardiac arrest , gastrointestinal necrosis, haemodynamic instability, multi-organ failure, oesophageal disorder, overdose, upper gastrointestinal haemorrhage. Cytotec dosage: unknown. Patient died on 01/01/2005.
