Cytosine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Jan 15, 2007. Male patient, 43 years of age, was diagnosed with burkitt's lymphoma, acquired immunodeficiency syndrome and was treated with Cytosine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood cholesterol increased, blood triglycerides increased, osteonecrosis What is  osteonecrosis, osteoporosis What is  osteoporosis, pain in extremity, spinal compression fracture. Cytosine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DOXORUBICIN, METHOTREXATE, VINCRISTINE, HYDROCORTISONE, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, PREDNISOLONE, RITONAVIR, SAQUINAVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Cytosine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DOXORUBICIN, CYTARABINE, TRIMETHOPRIM, METHOTREXATE, VINCRISTINE, HYDROCORTISONE, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
