Cytosine side effect was reported by a Physician from TURKEY on Oct 13, 2006. Female patient, 42 years of age, was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Cytosine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: candidiasis, erythema, febrile neutropenia, haemorrhage, induration, local swelling, odynophagia, oesophageal ulcer, pyrexia. Cytosine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CYTOSINE ARABINOSIDE, DAUNORUBICIN, METHOTREXATE, METHYLPREDNISOLONE, VINCRISTINE, FLUDARABINE. Patient recovered.
