Female patient, 57 years of age, weighting 140.0 lb, was diagnosed with thyroxine abnormal, tri-iodothyronine abnormal and was treated with Cytomel. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , heart rate increased. Cytomel dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
