Cystagon side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on July 31, 2005. Male patient, 26 years of age, weighting 121.0 lb, was diagnosed with cystinosis and was treated with Cystagon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anuria, ascites, echocardiogram abnormal, gastric varices, haemodialysis, hepatomegaly, portal hypertension, portal vein thrombosis, renal transplant. Cystagon dosage: unknown. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ascites, caput medusae, depression What is  depression, gastric varices, haemodialysis, hepatic encephalopathy, hepatomegaly, kidney transplant rejection, multi-organ failure. Cystagon dosage: unknown. Patient died.
