Cystagon side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on Jan 08, 2007. Male patient, child 10 years of age, was diagnosed with cystinosis and was treated with Cystagon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abasia, abnormal behaviour, agitation, anaemia, arthralgia, asthenia, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, biopsy skin abnormal, blood parathyroid hormone decreased. Cystagon dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CYSTEAMINE, LEVOTHYROXINE, GROWTH HORMONE RECOMBINANT, EPOGEN, ACE INHIBITOR NOS. Patient recovered.

Cystagon side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Nov 14, 2007. Male patient, child 10 years of age, was diagnosed with cystinosis and was treated with Cystagon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, blood creatinine increased, impetigo , joint stiffness, osteonecrosis . Cystagon dosage: DAILY; ORAL; 19.4 MG/KG; DAILY; ORAL; 36 MG/KG; DAILY; ORAL; 5400 MG; DAILY; ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ERYTHROPOETIN, PHOSPHATE, BICARBONATE, INDOMETHACIN, ALFACALCIDOL. Patient recovered.
