Cystagon side effect was reported by a Physician from on Sept 25, 2005. Male patient, 20 years of age, was diagnosed with cystinosis and was treated with Cystagon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: amyotrophy, anaemia, asthenia, atrophy, blood urea increased, corneal deposits, creatinine renal clearance decreased, diabetes mellitus, dysphagia. Cystagon dosage: 250 MG; Q6H; PO. Patient died on 01/01/2003.

Cystagon side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on Jan 08, 2007. Male patient, child 10 years of age, was diagnosed with cystinosis and was treated with Cystagon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abasia, abnormal behaviour, agitation, anaemia, arthralgia, asthenia, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, biopsy skin abnormal, blood parathyroid hormone decreased. Cystagon dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CYSTEAMINE, LEVOTHYROXINE, GROWTH HORMONE RECOMBINANT, EPOGEN, ACE INHIBITOR NOS. Patient recovered.
