Cymevene side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from SWEDEN on Feb 22, 2007. Male patient, 49 years of age, was diagnosed with cytomegalovirus gastrointestinal infection and was treated with Cymevene. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspergillosis, escherichia infection, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, renal failure. Cymevene dosage: FORM REPORTED AS POWDER FOR SOLUTION FOR INFUSION. REGIMEN REPORTED AS 175 MG X 1. DOSE WAS +. During the same period patient was treated with BACTRIM, MABTHERA, CIPROFLOXACIN, DIFLUCAN, PRECORTALON, SANDIMMUNE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 08/01/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, anxiety , blood bilirubin increased, c-reactive protein increased, cytomegalovirus test, dyspnoea, epstein-barr virus infection, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, hepatic failure. Cymevene dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with KONAKION, BACTRIM, URSO FALK, CALCIUM, PRECORTALON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
