Curosurf side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from SWEDEN on Oct 20, 2005. Male patient was diagnosed with respiratory distress and was treated with Curosurf. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acidosis, cardiac arrest , oxygen saturation decreased, pneumopericardium, shock. Curosurf dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PHENOTAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Female patient, weighting 1.54 lb, was diagnosed with neonatal respiratory distress syndrome and was treated with Curosurf. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradycardia neonatal, dyspnoea, metabolic acidosis, neonatal disorder, neonatal tachypnoea, oxygen saturation decreased, pneumothorax. Curosurf dosage: 72 MILLIGRAMS-INTRATRACHEAL. During the same period patient was treated with AMPICILLIN, GENTAMICIN, FKYCIBAZIKE. Patient died.
