Female patient, 40 years of age, weighting 138.9 lb, was diagnosed with staphylococcal abscess and was treated with Cubicin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatine phosphokinase increased, chest pain , confusional state, dyspnoea, fatigue, hyperhidrosis, rash , tachycardia. Cubicin dosage: 3 MG/KG; Q24H; IV. During the same period patient was treated with SUMATRIPTAN, CALCIUM GLUCONATE, ALBUTEROL, PREVACID, ORAMORPH. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
