Male patient, 35 years of age, weighting 189.6 lb, was diagnosed with staphylococcal osteomyelitis and was treated with Cubicin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, cardiomyopathy acute, hypoxia, liver function test abnormal, pyrexia, streptococcal infection . Cubicin dosage: 6 MG/KG; Q24H; IV. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
