Crixivan Side Effects Report #5470315-7
Crixivan side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Sept 10, 2007. Male patient, 54 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Crixivan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: amnesia, encephalopathy, lymphoma , nephritis interstitial, nephrolithiasis, oedema peripheral, pancytopenia, pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia. Crixivan dosage: 1.6 GM/DAILY PO; 800 MG/DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with BENAMBAX, RETROVIR, ATOVAQUONE, LAMIVUDINE, NELFINAVIR MESYLATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, diabetes mellitus, diabetic nephropathy, haemodialysis, hypertension, hyperuricaemia, jaundice , pancytopenia, renal failure. Crixivan dosage: 800 MG/TID PO. During the same period patient was treated with EPIVIR, ZERIT, VIRACEPT, BAKTAR, BANAMBAX, HIVID, LOPEMIN. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood bilirubin increased, blood pressure decreased, diabetes mellitus, diabetic neuropathy, haemodialysis, hyperuricaemia, jaundice , pancytopenia, renal failure. Crixivan dosage: 800 MG/TID. During the same period patient was treated with EPIVIR, ZERIT, VIRACEPT, COTRIM, BANAMBAX, HIVID, LOPEMIN. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient died.
