Crixivan Side Effects Report #5055205-6
Crixivan side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on June 28, 2006. Female patient, 34 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection , mycobacterium avium complex infection and was treated with Crixivan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, back pain , blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood chloride decreased, blood cholesterol increased, blood creatinine decreased, blood sodium decreased, blood triglycerides increased, calculus urinary. Crixivan dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with EFAVIRENZ, RITONAVIR, ABACAVIR SULPHATE, LOPINAVIR, CLARITHROMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, anaemia, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood amylase increased, blood chloride decreased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, eosinophil count increased, hyperbilirubinaemia. Crixivan dosage: 800 MG/TID; PO; 600 MD, TID; PO. During the same period patient was treated with VIDEX, VIDEX EC, VIDEX EC, VIRACEPT. Patient recovered.

Crixivan dosage: 800 MG/TID. During the same period patient was treated with KOGENATE, VIRACEPT, PENTAMIDINE ISETHIONATE. Patient recovered.
