Cotrimoxazole side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from PORTUGAL on Apr 08, 2008. Female patient, 61 years of age, was diagnosed with respiratory tract infection and was treated with Cotrimoxazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, dermatitis exfoliative, eosinophilia, periorbital oedema, transaminases increased. Cotrimoxazole dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMOXICILLIN, CLARITHROMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
