Cotrimoxazole side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Mar 13, 2008. Female patient, 78 years of age, was diagnosed with citrobacter infection, urinary tract infection What is  urinary tract infection, gastrooesophageal reflux disease, dementia alzheimer's type and was treated with Cotrimoxazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aggression, agitation, balance disorder, cerebral atrophy, cerebral ischaemia, citrobacter infection, condition aggravated, confusional state, constipation What is  constipation. Cotrimoxazole dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TRIMETHOPRIM, FAMOTIDINE, MEMANTINE, PAROXETINE, ATORVASTATIN, PRINZIDE, DONEPEZIL. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
