Cosmegen Side Effects Report #4885799-2
Cosmegen side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Dec 19, 2005. Male patient was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma and was treated with Cosmegen. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, hepatic failure, hepatomegaly, incorrect dose administered, multi-organ failure, thrombocytopenia, venoocclusive disease. Cosmegen dosage: 1.5 MG/M**2; QD; INJ. Patient died.

Cosmegen side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Mar 28, 2005. Male patient, 18 years of age, was diagnosed with nephroblastoma and was treated with Cosmegen. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: metastases to bone, metastases to liver, metastases to lymph nodes, thrombocytopenia. Cosmegen dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ADRIACIN, ONCOVIN. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: accidental overdose, bone marrow depression, dermatitis exfoliative, gastrointestinal mucosal necrosis, leukopenia, oral mucosal exfoliation, respiratory failure, thrombocytopenia. Cosmegen dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 27 years of age, was diagnosed with gestational trophoblastic tumour and was treated with Cosmegen. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: brain oedema, respiratory failure, thrombocytopenia. Cosmegen dosage: 0.5 MG; IV. During the same period patient was treated with ETOPOSIDE, PERCHLORATE, METHIMAZOLE, PROPRANOLOL, METHOTREXATE, LEUCOVORIN CALCIUM. Patient recovered.
