Male patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with pituitary tumour, meningitis bacterial, hypothyroidism and was treated with Cortef. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, adrenocortical insufficiency acute, amnesia, hypothyroidism, loss of consciousness, meningitis bacterial, weight decreased. Cortef dosage: 65 MG (65 MG, 1 IN 1 D) ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN, LEVOTHYROXINE, SYNTHROID, TAMSULOSIN HYDROCHLORIDE, MAGNESIUM, VITAMIN E. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
