Cortancyl Side Effects Report #4984312-9
Cortancyl side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on Apr 24, 2006. Male patient, 17 years of age, weighting 101.4 lb, was diagnosed with liver transplant  and was treated with Cortancyl. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: epstein-barr virus infection, hodgkin's disease , liver transplant rejection, multi-organ failure. Cortancyl dosage: 20 MG, BID. During the same period patient was treated with IMUREL, NEORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Female patient, 76 years of age, was diagnosed with breast cancer metastatic, metastases to bone and was treated with Cortancyl. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: infection , osteitis, osteonecrosis , wound debridement. Cortancyl dosage: 20 MG DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with ZOMETA. Patient recovered.
