Cortancyl side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on Oct 24, 2005. Male patient, 68 years of age, weighting 160.9 lb, was diagnosed with photodermatosis and was treated with Cortancyl. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diabetes mellitus, hypertension. Cortancyl dosage: 60 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with NEORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 39 years of age, was diagnosed with renal transplant and was treated with Cortancyl. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, blood urea increased, blood uric acid increased, glomerulonephritis minimal lesion, hyperphosphataemia, hypertension, microcytic anaemia, proteinuria, renal failure. Cortancyl dosage: 10 MG DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with NEORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
